In this renovated farmhouse, the architecture strongly preserves the original character of the building through large wooden beams, textured ceilings and terracotta floors. Within this warm, rural language, Linear® and Fifty® fit in with great discretion, without creating any break between historic elements and contemporary solutions.
Linear® accompanies the layout of the rooms with sliding openings integrated into the walls and bespoke furniture, leaving the passage clear and keeping the composition of the spaces clean. The door thus tends to disappear, becoming part of the architecture rather than an added element.
The same approach is taken by Fifty®, which introduces the flush-to-wall hinged door while keeping an essential look that is perfectly consistent with the project. Its presence is deliberately restrained, allowing the original materials and the proportions of the farmhouse to remain the focus.
The result is a project in which Linear® and Fifty® do not try to dominate the context but blend into it, showing how contemporary design systems can interact naturally even with more traditional architecture. Past and present thus coexist without forced contrasts, through technical solutions that improve the functionality of the rooms while respecting their identity.
