WHERE WE COME FROM

Protek® was born from a family story of determined people with a deep bond with their region, and its name has expressed its vision from the very start: designing innovative solutions.

In the mid-1980s, brothers Giovanni and Maurizio Maggioni
took over the experience and the reins of the craft business
of their father Rino, founded in 1951: a small
mechanical workshop in the heart of Brianza.
Enterprise and dedication are the key elements
that over the years allowed the two brothers to conceive numerous
innovative projects for the most diverse sectors of industry
and craftsmanship.

And it is this “school in the field” that taught the
Maggioni brothers to work with all kinds of materials, enabling them to
develop original solutions that would later be applied to their
first long-sought goal: designing and manufacturing
pocket frames for sliding doors and windows, with
innovative and futuristic technical features, developed
thanks to their long-standing craftsmanship, precision and
tailoring.
